How to perform Child's Pose

  1. Kneel on the floor with your big toes touching and knees slightly apart.
  2. Sit back onto your heels and slowly lower your torso forward.
  3. Extend your arms out in front of you with palms down or place them by your sides for a gentler variation.
  4. Rest your forehead on the mat and breathe deeply for 30 seconds to a few minutes.

Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
