1. Who we are and what this policy covers

PumpPal is developed by Justin Sinnard under the name Sinnard Technologies ("PumpPal," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy applies to the PumpPal mobile application, our website, and related support services.

2. Information we handle

Information stored on your device

Core workout information can be stored locally on your device. Depending on the features you use, this may include workout plans and logs, exercises, progress photos, body measurements, goals, preferences, and reminders. You can remove locally stored information by using available deletion controls or by uninstalling the app.

Account and cloud-sync information

An account is optional and is used for features such as Lifetime Membership verification, ad removal, secure cloud sync, and cross-device access. If you create an account or enable cloud sync, we may process your email address, account identifiers, purchase-entitlement information, and the content you choose to sync, including workout data, measurements, and progress photos.

Advertising, analytics, and technical information

Free versions of the app may use third-party advertising and analytics services. These services may process device or advertising identifiers, product interactions, advertising data, diagnostics, approximate location derived from an IP address, and similar usage information to deliver and measure ads, understand app performance, prevent fraud, and improve PumpPal.

Website and support information

Our website uses Google Analytics and similar browser technologies to understand visits and interactions. When you join an email list, submit feedback, complete a survey, or contact support, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message. Providing this information is voluntary.

Purchase information

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your full payment-card details. We may receive transaction or entitlement information needed to confirm and support your purchase.

3. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, personalize, and sync PumpPal features you request.
• Authenticate accounts and verify Lifetime Membership access.
• Respond to support requests, feedback, and other communications.
• Measure usage, troubleshoot problems, improve performance, and develop features.
• Deliver and measure advertising in free versions of the app.
• Protect PumpPal, our users, and our services from abuse, fraud, and security threats.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. When information is shared

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only as needed with:

• Service providers that support hosting, cloud storage, authentication, analytics, advertising, email, customer support, and other app operations.
• Apple and Google for app distribution, purchases, subscriptions or entitlements, advertising, and related platform services.
• Authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of our services.
• A successor organization as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies where applicable.

5. Your choices and controls

• Use core local features without creating an account where the app makes that option available.
• Choose whether to enable cloud sync and whether to upload progress photos.
• Manage app permissions through your device settings.
• Manage advertising choices through your Apple or Google device settings.
• Disable or limit browser cookies through your browser settings.
• Unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message or by contacting us.
• Ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information associated with your account.

6. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. We keep account, synced, support, and business records only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.

To request deletion of information associated with your account, contact us using the address below. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel or refund a purchase made through Apple or Google.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

PumpPal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

9. International use and privacy rights

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection. We may need to verify your request before completing it, and some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as PumpPal changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
