Dumbbell Shrug exercise
An isolation exercise that targets the upper trapezius muscles, helping to build neck and shoulder strength.

How to perform Dumbbell Shrug
- Stand upright with a dumbbell in each hand, arms fully extended at your sides.
- Keep your feet shoulder-width apart and maintain a neutral spine.
- Lift your shoulders straight up toward your ears as high as possible.
- Pause at the top for a moment and squeeze your traps.
- Slowly lower your shoulders back down to the starting position.
- Avoid rolling your shoulders; the motion should be straight up and down.
Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
