Lateral Cone Shuffle exercise

A fast-paced agility drill that improves cardiovascular endurance, foot speed, and coordination by shuffling laterally between two markers. It's great for conditioning and can be tracked by time or distance.

How to perform Lateral Cone Shuffle

  1. Set two cones or markers 5 to 10 meters apart.
  2. Stand centered between the cones, facing forward.
  3. Shuffle sideways to one cone and touch the ground.
  4. Shuffle quickly to the opposite cone and touch the ground.
  5. Repeat for a set time or distance while maintaining low, quick movements.
  6. Avoid crossing your feet and stay light on your toes.

Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
