How to perform Barbell Front Squat

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and the barbell racked at chest height.
  2. Position the barbell across the front of your shoulders, resting it on your deltoids.
  3. Cross your arms over the bar or use a clean grip to hold it in place.
  4. Keep your elbows high, chest up, and core tight.
  5. Unrack the bar and step back into your squat stance.
  6. Lower your body by bending your knees and hips, keeping your torso upright.
  7. Descend until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor.
  8. Drive through your heels to stand back up, maintaining your upright posture.
  9. Repeat for the desired number of reps.

Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
