Leg Press exercise
The leg press is a compound machine-based exercise that targets the quadriceps, glutes, and hamstrings. It provides a safe and stable way to build lower body strength, especially for those managing spinal or balance limitations.

How to perform Leg Press
- Sit down on the leg press machine and place your feet shoulder-width apart on the platform.
- Adjust the seat and backrest so that your knees are bent at about 90 degrees.
- Grip the handles and brace your core.
- Push through your heels to extend your legs without locking your knees.
- Slowly lower the platform back down until your knees are at 90 degrees again.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps.
Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
