Cable Crunch exercise
The cable crunch is a resistance exercise that targets the abdominal muscles, particularly the rectus abdominis. Performed with a cable machine, it provides consistent tension and is highly effective for building core strength and definition.

How to perform Cable Crunch
- Attach a rope to the high pulley of a cable machine.
- Kneel down facing the machine and grasp the rope handles with both hands.
- Hold the rope behind your head or at shoulder level, keeping your hands close to your ears.
- Contract your abs and curl your torso down toward your knees, keeping your hips stationary.
- Pause and squeeze your abs at the bottom of the movement.
- Slowly return to the starting position with control.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps, maintaining core engagement throughout.
Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
