Stretching
Hip Flexor Stretch exercise
The hip flexor stretch helps relieve tightness in the front of the hips caused by prolonged sitting or intense lower-body training. It improves hip extension, posture, and mobility, making it a key movement for athletes and desk workers alike.

How to perform Hip Flexor Stretch
- Start in a half-kneeling position with your right knee on the ground and your left foot flat in front of you, creating a 90-degree angle in both legs.
- Engage your core and maintain an upright torso.
- Gently shift your weight forward until you feel a stretch in the front of your right hip and thigh.
- Keep your glutes engaged to avoid arching your lower back.
- Hold the stretch for 20–30 seconds while breathing deeply.
- Switch sides and repeat the movement on the opposite leg.
Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
