How to perform Wide-Grip Bench Press

  1. Lie flat on the bench, feet on the ground.
  2. Use a grip wider than shoulders.
  3. Unrack the barbell carefully.
  4. Lower it to mid-chest with control.
  5. Press the bar back up to full extension.
  6. Repeat for reps.
  7. Rack the bar.
