Hanging Leg Raise exercise
The hanging leg raise is an advanced core exercise that targets the lower abdominals and hip flexors. It also builds grip and shoulder stability, making it a great all-around bodyweight movement.

How to perform Hanging Leg Raise
- Hang from a pull-up bar with your arms fully extended and legs straight.
- Engage your core and keep your body steady.
- Raise your legs up in front of you, keeping them straight, until they reach at least hip height.
- Pause briefly at the top for maximum contraction.
- Slowly lower your legs back down without swinging.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps, maintaining control throughout.
Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
