Stretching
World’s Greatest Stretch exercise
The world’s greatest stretch is a dynamic mobility exercise that targets the hips, hamstrings, thoracic spine, and shoulders. It improves flexibility, balance, and movement efficiency, making it ideal as a warm-up before strength or cardio training.

How to perform World’s Greatest Stretch
- Start in a high plank position with your hands under your shoulders and feet hip-width apart.
- Step your right foot forward next to your right hand, keeping your back leg straight and core tight.
- Lower your left knee to the floor for support if needed.
- Rotate your torso to the right and reach your right arm toward the ceiling, opening your chest toward your front leg.
- Hold briefly, then return your hand to the ground.
- Step your right foot back to the plank position and repeat on the left side.
- Perform 5–8 reps per side, moving smoothly through each position while maintaining control.
Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
