Cable Tricep Overhead Extension exercise
The cable tricep overhead extension is an isolation exercise that targets the long head of the triceps. It provides constant tension throughout the movement and is great for building bigger, stronger arms.

How to perform Cable Tricep Overhead Extension
- Attach a rope to the low pulley of a cable machine.
- Grab the rope handles with both hands and lift it overhead, elbows close to your ears.
- Stand upright with a staggered stance for balance.
- Extend your arms by pushing the rope upward until your arms are fully extended.
- Pause briefly at the top, squeezing your triceps.
- Slowly lower the rope back behind your head with control.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps.
Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
