Dumbbell Chest Press exercise
The dumbbell chest press is a compound upper-body exercise that targets the pectoral muscles while also engaging the triceps and shoulders. Compared to the barbell press, it allows for a greater range of motion and better isolation of each side of the chest.

How to perform Dumbbell Chest Press
- Lie flat on a bench holding a dumbbell in each hand at chest level.
- Keep your feet flat on the floor and your shoulder blades pressed into the bench.
- Press both dumbbells upward until your arms are fully extended.
- Slowly lower the dumbbells back down to chest level in a controlled motion.
- Keep your elbows at about a 45-degree angle throughout the movement.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps.
Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
