Incline Push-Up exercise
A beginner-friendly push-up variation that targets the chest, shoulders, and triceps while reducing strain on the upper body. It’s great for building strength before progressing to standard push-ups.

How to perform Incline Push-Up
- Place your hands shoulder-width apart on an elevated surface like a bench, box, or step.
- Step your feet back until your body forms a straight line from head to heels.
- Engage your core and lower your chest toward the elevated surface by bending your elbows.
- Keep your elbows at about a 45-degree angle from your body.
- Push through your palms to return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps, maintaining a straight back throughout.
Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
