Push-Up exercise

The push-up is a classic bodyweight exercise that strengthens the chest, shoulders, triceps, and core. It’s a foundational movement that can be modified for different skill levels.

How to perform Push-Up

  1. Start in a high plank position with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
  2. Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels.
  3. Lower your body toward the ground by bending your elbows.
  4. Keep your elbows close to your body or flared slightly outward.
  5. Lower until your chest nearly touches the floor.
  6. Push through your palms to return to the starting position.
  7. Repeat for the desired number of reps.

Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
