How to perform Push Up

  1. Start in a high plank position with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
  2. Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels.
  3. Lower your body toward the floor by bending your elbows, keeping them close to your body.
  4. Lower until your chest nearly touches the ground.
  5. Push through your palms to straighten your arms and return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Use controlled movement and an appropriate variation for your current ability. Stop if an exercise causes sharp pain, and seek qualified guidance when needed.
